"Ordinary Things"

Lady Fantasy, she flies through life on dragonfly wings
Barely 19 she already knows life’s mysteries In her eyes, I can see a glimpse of what is yet to be
Although it scares me I get lost in those shades of green

Hair like wildfire she burns just as bright and as easily
Compared to you and me the time in her hourglass seems half empty
Like ivy in a cemetery she breathed new life into me
Though she denies it, she needs me more than she thinks

Ch: Look in her eyes and you will see her beauty
But I’ve been deeper in those shades of green

She’s beautiful when she sleeps She’s beautiful in the way she dreams
She’s beautiful the most to me When she does those ordinary things

Be very careful when you get lost deep in those eyes
There’s a beautiful dark side she’s trying to hide
She holds up a mirror so you can only see what you want and not look past
But if you look deep enough you’ll see a trail of broken stained glass

Ch: Look in her eyes and you will see her beauty
But I’ve been deeper in those shades of green

She’s beautiful when she sleeps She’s beautiful in the way she dreams
She’s beautiful the most to me When she does those ordinary things

Br: I don’t believe in forever
Every tie that binds severs
As much as I want to be together
I know we can never ever … be forever.

She’s beautiful when she sleeps
She’s beautiful in the way she dreams
She’s beautiful when she tries to sing
She’s beautiful in the way she breathes
She’s beautiful in the way she looks at me
She’s beautiful in what she believes/ She’s beautiful the most to me
When she does those ordinary things
